I'm an author, tv and radio presenter and journalist. A one woman freelance band.

You might find me debating the day's news on itv1's Lorraine, presenting a short film on BBC1's The One Show, speaking at an event or in any given coffee shop writing my second novel.

I'm also Scottish and a bit ginger.

My background consists of over a decade in journalism, starting as The Sun's first graduate trainee where I covered news, features, motoring, football. I also replaced the Page 3 girl when I made the finals of auditions to replace Kym Marsh in Hear'Say..lots of men complained. I was a showbiz writer for the Sun in London before giving up the world of canapes to write opinion columns for the Scottish Sun, Scotland on Sunday and other publications.

Before that, I trained to be a lawyer.
